Effective use of colour - appears friendly and soft and approachable
The use of plain font without serifs appear clean and fresh – appropriate for the market
The symbolism of colour help imply each word different – blue for simple and green for home….yet it is interesting this is not carried out in the name of the company!
I like the use of the circle and the letters cutting out of the shape itself – it seems to say that this company will bring your life together – which is a very important message to the consumers

“Cherry Blossom”
This is a fairly obscure source of inspiration and study – in terms of studying and devising a logo for Rohan – yet I appreciate the subtle use of colour and the stamp like quality of the image
I think the over all logo is very obvious, there isn’t a lot of thought in it – but that can be a good thing and in terms of how it is made, the obviousness made me curious about the products that this company sold.
I also like how the typeface reflects the knots in the branches of the blossom tree.

“Design boutique”
The use of font and colour really bring this logo together.
The images are complemented by the text by their similar hues and tones which reflect an earthy, organic and modern lifestyle – which seems to appeal to the current market.
I like the use of circles and the almost geometric type writing it is a subtle contrast that I think is very affective.

“Koosh” designs
This company seems rather feminine via the use of pink and magenta tones
The use of overlapping pillow shaped squares and blocks of colour look great
The company appears friendly and ciche.
The type is nice and original; it does not seem contrived or obvious
Not overly bold – but says just enough – does not over shadow products
Overall I think this logo is very appealing and affective for the market it is directed at. The use of colour, interesting patterns of line and shape and simple font is aesthetic.

“Re-Surface”
I adore this logo. In terms of design, I think it is just lovely.
The message it sends is unreal.
I love the use of the timber effect – seems so organic and natural
I love the use of the stamped lettering as if it was a label – as if the company were making things that were their own and something original
The name is really cool “re-surfacing” changing something from what it was, revitalising things, rebuilding, re-making, re thinking!
I t also has some sort of timeless appeal to it as well – with the lyno type look to it which was so popular in interior designs many years ago and yet the meanings that I can draw from it seem so modern… the logo says a lot to me and makes me want to take a look at their products.

“Landl”
These guys make cupboards and furniture. So with this in mind when one considers the way the letters have been hidden – it really seems to make more sense.
In terms of the product and the target audience – I believe the type face and how its constructed is very effective.
It is original and bold and seems almost exclusive to a high end part of the market.
I question something about the logo – and I can’t put my finger on it – perhaps it needs a secondary graphic?
But I still very much appreciate the creative way in which they conveyed their name and the use of diagonal lines to imply movement and even a birds eye view of opening new doors?
I like the use of red – seems very different for a furniture company, which are often browns, dusty/dirty blues and pea greens.
