Iconic and very recognisable is the "ebay" logo. The use of colour and the font is as prestigious as the company is well known through out the world. The use of colours is eye catching and simple - thank golly there are only four letters! Can you imagine how expensive all its printing would be if they had called themselves "treasure chest".

I must admit that this logo is sparingly used - this is the full logo itself and when it is cut down it just becomes what is in the oval. But this is certainly on their business card - as it is currently stuck up on my wall. I find the image/logo very interesting as it is different from usual brands. I feel it speaks a lot about the brand aswell - with images associated with "Italy" such as a sexy broad and a fat gentleman! (i'll take a pic of the business card i have...) my card shows to italian clowns ontop of the oval...and images of the leaning tower of pisa and flamenco dancers (but obviously the italian version...not spanish as they wear a different kind of dress)...a woman pouring oil...grapes...I can see how this card can make a personal impression and when the logo gets "censored" if you will - like the banner at the shop is purely what is in the oval... i feel it just informs you what you already know... it's italy as soon as you take a bite of the gelato!
(btw i count over 6 colours.... lets not count the shades between them though cause then i think we'd be talking triple in terms of the business card.... but if we talk about just the oval...we are looking at about 4 colours)

As for pepsi... it makes me thirsty just looking at it! It uses only 3 colours - red, white and blue. These colours promoted the fresh, crisp and thirst quenching flavour and drink that is pepsi.... this is also used along with imagery of the rushing water and ice.
